This week has been a very eventful week for me. Since the time i came from Delhi last sunday i been busy running around between office and home. Was looking forward to some good time on thu, that day being Deepshi's birthday. To my bad luck, i spent the whole day cooking as there was no help around. So much for the excitement. What kept me going was the excitement that Deepshi's completed 2 years and i wanted to make it special, really special. It did go well just that not the way i wanted to.
There were some good moments too. Like seeing Deepshi going all around saying 'happy birthday to you'. She began her day early, then school and then the ritual of 5-course lunch which really relished. There was Kheer, fish fry, potato fry, and other fries. Typical bengali food. She had it all by herself saying 'appe, appe' which means 'by myself'. We were all surprised she ate by herself, we didnt' have to force feed (which normally is the case). She even imitated how adults eat, keeping the plate down, hands on rice and then bending over to eat, the final touch.
No time to post pics, will do it at leisure. Rushing into another meeting now.
